Texandance... FILM HAPPENS!

A cinematographer In an alley behind a smelly fish market in San Francisco, a film maker on top of a trash heap outside of Boston, from all over the globe, one weekend out of the year, all of the true creative individuals come together, in New Braunfels, Texas... Texandance...  "FILM HAPPENS!"

Texandance... created by an independent film maker, two rock 'n' rollers, and a guy who likes to video tape his kids, who all have a desire to help the independent film maker prosper and market their product.

Texandance...a festival who's main goal is to get film makers' creations seen, and give them the credit they deserve, and help them market their work.

Texandance... a film festival, that selects submissions based on filmmakers' submitted movie trailers.

Texandance's goals are to select as many trailers, features, documentaries, music videos, and shorts as possible, so that they are seen by others who love independent film, give the film makers the credit they deserve, and help them market their work. 

Texandance is an event that will take place in New Braunfels, Texas in June of 2009. 

New Braunfels is 35 min. north of San Antonio, 50 min. south of Austin, and only 10 min. from Gruene, Texas.  New Braunfels is home of the original Schlitterbahn waterpark.

Texandance's main venue is the historic Brauntex theatre in downtown New Braunfels with more venues to be announced based on submissions.

Texandance wants to see what you got!  Whether you are a veteran film maker shooting on HD or a geek with a VHS camera living in his parent's basement, Texandance is the film festival for you!  If your trailer can hold our attention for it's entirety, put a smile on our face, and have good production values, then more than likely your trailer will be an official selection of...
